FAMILY RESTORED

God began healing her heart and she began having hope again.

Broken by Meth Addiction

Chris and his family had been ravaged by meth addiction. Him and his wife Destiny, never would have thought that it could come to this. They were separated and both facing criminal charges. Their children had been taken away by the state. Divorce was imminent. Their family was shattered.

With God All Things are Possible

Chris came to the Warriors Center through the criminal court system and began finding peace in the midst of his horrible storm. He gave his life to Christ and began receiving help for his addiction. He made a commitment to being the man God created him to be. Chris also began praying earnestly for his wife Destiny and his family every day.

Soon thereafter, Destiny came into the Warriors Center for Women after hearing about her husbands turn around. She wanted what he had. After starting her program, God began healing her heart and she began having hope again. First their marriage and commitment to one another was restored. However this time around they wanted to put God first in their marriage. They decided to renew their vows and make God the cornerstone of their family.

A Thanksgiving Miracle

In November, Chris and Destiny renewed their vows in a beautiful ceremony at the Warriors Center for Women. Very soon thereafter, they received the greatest miracle. They were given the opportunity by the courts  to visit their children together and allowed to spend the Thanksgiving holiday as a family for the first time in a very long time. Their three little ones were overjoyed and so thankful to have their mom and dad back again. For them this will be a Thanksgiving to remember.
