Recovery Revival: A Night of Hope

More than 300 people filled Southpoint Church in Southaven for a Celebrate Recovery celebration of what God is doing in the lives of people in recovery.

Warriors Center joined Woodland Recovery Center and the Celebrate Recovery family for two and a half hours of worship, music, and testimony. The Southpoint worship team led the room in praise. Founder David Vincent shared his testimony, as did Warriors Center staff members Maria Mack, Kevin Bowens, and Anthony Blackman. Kevin offered a praise dance, and Anthony performed his song, “Every Day Is Mother’s Day.” Speakers from Woodland, including one of its graduates, also shared their stories of recovery.

Through it all, Maria Mack, a member of the executive staff at Warriors Center for Women New Albany and a gifted artist, painted a picture of the “Oak of Righteousness.”
